Welcome to Off the Beaten Track 4x4. We are a small family run organisation specialising in family friendly, self driven UK greenlaning days and overland tours to Europe.
As a young family ourselves, we struggled to find events and tours that would accommodate our need for frequent stops and a balance between greenlaning and family down time. Therefore, we decided to plan our own overlanding adventures.
Our first family overland trip was an experience. We packed up the car and our 4 month old daughter and headed for the Pyrenees. Due to her young age, we chose to stay in a hotel and undertake day excursions. We found that this allowed us the most flexibility and as a result is the format we have based our European Tours on.
Alongside running our family friendly European Tours, we are also offering family friendly greenlaning events within the UK. We can assure you that these will be family friendly as we will also be bringing our daughter along on many of them.
